The Look for the Good® Program is a DIY School-wide Community-Care Kit which includes:

• A two-week school-wide gratitude campaign including materials for every student in your school (up to 960 kids)
• 10 months of optional video lessons on kindness and emotion regulation for classroom teachers to opt into
• And a week-long bonus program called "Wiggle Warrior® Week" which empowers student leaders to teach their classmates about emotions

Our community-care program encourages people to focus on "glimmers" which are tiny moments of nervous system regulation which remind you that you're strong enough to handle whatever stressful experience is in front of you. Glimmers are absolutely critical in trauma-informed programming because they establish emotional safety and a readiness for learning. 

Our program has been endorsed by the Connecticut Association of Schools and by the former Commissioner of Education for the state of Connecticut (Dianna Wentzell). Look for the Good Project has also been endorsed by various districts across the country, former US President George HW Bush, and Varsity Brands' National Mental Health Initiative.

In order to stay within the scope of our mission, Look for the Good Project, Inc. only offers programming to K - 6 elementary schools. If you are interested in applying the Look for the Good® or Wiggle Warrior® frameworks to a population outside this age group, please contact us: [email protected].

As of Dec. 1st, 2023 the cost to license the program is $1,000 per school. This license fee covers a license to run the Look for the Good® Program as many times as you want during the current academic school year, staff-wide access to Wiggle Warrior® Classroom for the remainder of the academic year, and enough program materials to cover all students and staff (up to 960 students). Our community-care program cultivates the emotional safety and felt-sense of belonging needed to make CASEL & PBIS accredited programs effective. Our lessons consist of fun, interactive content for kids, and is largely student-driven to improve engagement. We encourage you to use the Look for the Good® Program as a helpful supplement to your school's required social emotional learning (SEL) programming.

There is not a widely recognized SEL accrediting body, as CASEL and PBIS are not universally accepted on a national level. This is why Look for the Good Project is not SEL accredited, and has not sought SEL accreditation. However the Look for the Good® Program is well-researched and trauma-informed, and leverages widely respected therapeutic frameworks such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Experiencing (SE).
